The Best PC Game of All Time

Platforms: PSVR Reviewed On: PS4 Pro Developer: Gearbox Publisher: 2K Games Singleplayer: Yes Multiplayer: No While we all wait for Borderlands 3 to finally happen it seems Gearbox want to give virtual reality some love with the release of Borderlands 2 for the Playstation VR,  a timed exclusive that Sony gets for a whole year before it arrives anywhere else. So, is it worth jumping back into Gearbox’s looter shooter? Considering the game came out six years ago I’m not going to spend too much time on its story or basic gameplay, but we’ll go through it all briefly. As one of four Vault Hunters you land on Pandora with the aim being to find and defeat Handsome Jack, a likeable dick who has taken over the planet following the events of the firs game which the game will quickly recap for you. That’s pretty much it for the plot, but what makes it so much fun is the cast of mad-cap characters you meet along the way, from the love/hate antics of Claptrap the robot to the consistently hila...

So maybe you’re like me and have gone and gotten a shiny new racing wheel so that you can spend hours upon hours screaming along rally courses or lapping Silverstone in a Ferrari F1 car. They tend to come with handy clamps that you can slap onto your desk which is awesome if you just want to race on your PC or something, but if you want to play on console in the living room things can get a bit trickier. That’s where stands come into play. There are a number of them on the market and today I’m reviewing one from the boys and girls over at Next Level Racing. Keep in mind this is the first one I’ve reviewed, so I’m not delving into comparisons between this stand and others that are available on the market, rather I’ll just be tackling this one using…common sense. Yes, a scary idea, I know, but I’m going to give it a whirl. if you were hoping that the LITE part of the name indicated something easily moved around then you’re in for some stinging dissapointment and a sprained back; at ar...

A lright, so you’ve gone and got yourself a fancy headset capable of delivering sound to your ears that’s so good you might just orgasm right there on the spot, horrifying anybody who is unlucky enough to be in the same room as you, but somehow something still isn’t right. Cue the GSX 1000, an external DAC (Digital Analog Converter) and amplifier combo that replaces your computers onboard audio in order to give your headphones all the love they truly deserve. The little box of wonders definitely looks the part with a clean, black finish and a silver volume control that turns fantastically smoothly. The silver ring is accented by gentle red LED lights that circle it, and in the middle there is a touchscreen for adjusting a small selection of settings. Finally, a little stand at the back lets you angle the whole unit for when it’s sitting on your desk. It looks and feels like a premium piece of kit, and considering the £220 price-tag t...

If Pacific Rim, Godzilla and Cloverfield have shown us anything it’s that we really like giant monsters smashing buildings. And why not? It’s awesome. As a kid giant monsters destroying stuff was like the greatest possible thing in the universe outside of raiding the sweet cupboard and being kissed by that cute girl. It’s also something Extinction wants to capitalize on by tossing together destroyable buildings and huge beasts that have an appetite for destruction. You play as Avil, the last of the Sentinels, beings who have the incredible powers of being awesome with a sword, able to jump really high and being able to glide through the air like a leaf on the wind. As Avil your job is to protect the cities and citizens of the kingdom from the incoming Ravenii assault, the Ravenii being mas...
